Reasons to go:

Food Portions: Perhaps not a worthy reason, but there’s nothing better than being served a huge burger and fries after a long hike, especially when it tastes great!

Geographical Diversity: You will see a range of landscapes, from golden beaches on the West Coast to the dry desert of Arizona, lush forests in the Pacific Northwest to sandy red rock and bewildering geological formations in Utah, sparkling granite roads in Yosemite to volcanic hot springs in Yellowstone.

Music: Americana, Blues, Country, Hip Hop, Jazz,  Motown, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Soul… the USA has founded a range of music genres and produced some of the world’s best artists and records. So many American songs accompany my memories from travelling here.

Night Sky: Never has the Milky Way looked so clear to me than it did in Utah and Hawaii.

Wildlife: From the cute seals and furry marmots to roaming bison and proud bears, the US really is a huge nature park.
